From EVE player perspective I know that battle onboard of Malestor will never occure - it will never be implemented as a eve game mechanic. So instead of maps that will never be 'connected' to eve I would rather see the one's that can be connected, and so on I would like te see battles over jumpgates, eve missions infrastructures, sleepers infrastructure, POCO, citadels hangars etc..
This is Skirmish v1.0.

Nova should not be held back by limitations that probably won't be relevant because that level of EVE interaction is exceptionally unlikely. Without that interaction or at least hope of that iteracion in future, Nova will be just another normal fps with some mmo elements out there. Why would any ordinary pc-fps player chose it over game('s) that are already there, and have solid fundation for another couple of years to come? What Nova will have that others games do not have?

So you're saying the only thing that set Dust apart was orbital strikes? Because that's the only part of Dust that required real-time connective gameplay. Whatever thought spark the idea in human mind to instal something on its laptop and try to play it, the very same idea keeps him playing it. Orbital strikes did not bring attention do Dust and let thousends of player to instanl this game, but marketing about battles that have meaning, and developer world on delivering it to the players over time.
After FF it is even more likely that Nova may have some close connectivity with Valkyria in future. Map that takes place on 2-3 flores of Minmatar planetary structure with widows that show Valkyri fighters fighting each other over something would be something nice to see.
